Charlotte"Bowie" Drozd, the 16-year-old daughter of Flaming Lips drummer Steven Drozd, was reported missing after she was last seen on October 5, 2024, in Seattle.
She was seen near the Space Needle and on a nearby monorail at around 11:30 a.m.
At the time, she was wearing khaki shorts and pink shoes. Charlotte, who is around 5'9", went missing under unclear circumstances, which prompted her family to make public pleas for assistance.
Her father, Steven, and his bandmate Wayne Coyne took to social media, urging people to help find her by sharing her missing person poster.
Fortunately, after days of concern and searches, Charlotte was found safe on October 8, 2024.
The Flaming Lips publicly expressed their gratitude for the outpouring of support during her disappearance.
Both her family and fans were relieved, and the Seattle Police Department confirmed that Charlotte had been located.
