Spencer Alex Car Accident; Gatewood, Kansas Resident and Four Deaths in Separate Crashes Over the weekend; Further Investigations Release.

Spencer Alex Gatewood, a resident of Altamont, Kansas, tragically lost his life in a car accident over the weekend in Labette County. 

He was driving a 2019 Hyundai Elantra when he failed to navigate a curve on 24000 Road, about two and a half miles west of Parsons.

 The car veered off the road, overturned in a pond, and Spencer was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Investigations revealed that he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

This fatal accident was one of four separate deadly crashes that occurred over the weekend in Kansas, highlighting a devastating stretch for road safety in the state. 

These crashes have left communities in mourning as they grieve the sudden loss of lives, including Spencer’s.

Investigations are still ongoing to determine further details surrounding these tragic events.
